Tenerife (01-08 Feb)

Back for the third year, our popular February coaching camp in Tenerife (01-08 February) has been a success from the beginning. We deliberately avoid the concrete jungle and big, low-cost tourist hotels on the beach to stay in delightful, authentic Canary Island boutique hotels.

Expect to ride about 450km and climb up to 13,000m in the week.

Coaching will be focused on learning techniques and skills for cycling in the mountains (pedalling, climbing, pacing, descending, nutrition…)

The evening technical sessions will be related to different aspects of preparing, training for and competing in mountain sportives and GranFondos.

Travel is by air to Tenerife.

La Clusaz (14-21 June), with the Morzine Haut-Chablais GranFondo

Our original best-seller, our La Clusaz coaching camp (14-21 June) will be based as usual in the outstanding Hotel Beauregard 4* for the first 6 days, before we transfer to Morzine on the Saturday for the Morzine-Haute Chablais GranFondo on the Sunday.

Expect to ride about 650km and climb up to 16,000m during the week, including the GranFondo.

Martigny, Switzerland (01-08 Aug), with the Marmotte Valais GranFondo

After an initial success in 2019 we will be repeating our Swiss coaching camp, from 01-08 August. We will be based in Martigny, the host twon for the World Championships in 2020.

Expect to ride about 500km and climb up to 15,000m during the week, including the GranFondo.

NEW FOR 2020. Our first Pyrenees coaching camp (16-23 August) will be based in the best of the local hotels in Argelès Gazost, in the heart of the Pyrenees.

Expect to ride about 650km and climb up to 16,000m during the week, including the GranFondo.

Travel by air is either Toulouse or Biarritz. Either airport is a two hour drive from Argelès Gazost.

Geneva to San Remo (05-12 Sept)

NEW FOR 2020. This is a variant on the classic Route des Grandes Alpes, starting near Geneva on September 5th and heading south through the French Alps before crossing into Italy and continuing through the south-western Italian Alps to finish in San Remo On September 12th. We will of course finish on the iconic coast-line run-in to San Remo, including the Cipressa and Poggio climbs, where most of the Milan-San Remo action takes place.

We think this will be a hugely popular opportunity to cycle through unspoiled parts of Italy, enjoying the best the country has to offer.

This is a relaxed, end-of season tour and not a coaching camp (although coaching is always available on request).

Travel to the start will be to Geneva. Departure from the end will be either from Nice (1h) or from Genoa (1h40).
